Protection

As a group we started to think about this idea of climate change and protection to the planet. I liked the idea of protection and layering up. We see protection in a natural environment i.e insects, they have almost an Armour that protects them. Birds have feathers and a lot of animals have fur. People wear protective clothing such as firefighter suits, metal Armour there are several examples...

One of the main reasons we are starting to up cycle and recycle is climate change and global warming. Things need to change and people need to realise how dangerous climate change is to our planet.

Up cycling/Sustainability

Stating this unit, Unit X I have started looking into Up cycling and recycling and how these issues have an effect on both the environment and the economy as well as fashion.

After a lot of research I came across some interesting and inspiring ideas about sustainability. I think these garments are really interesting.
